  • 24/7 online telemedicine appointments with a physician wherever you may be.

UCI Health On-Call 

  • Another telehealth option from UCI Health for students when SHC is closed.

Urgent Care centers have licensed providers who deliver a wide variety of services when you are sick or injured. They are typically much quicker than the ER but is important that you have your insurance ID card. If you have UC SHIP, please visit the Anthem Blue Cross website or download the mobile student health app.

UCSHIP Quick Care (Skip the ER)

When you need care right away and your doctor isn’t available, the ER probably isn’t your only choice. For non-emergencies, there are other options for faster care that can save you as much as $2,000/visit. And you won’t be taking up a spot for someone who may need life-saving care.
