Mission
UCI Student Health Center Radiology offers high quality, high resolution digital plain radiographic images to assist UCI Student Health Center providers and community providers in diagnosing various conditions including skeletal and soft tissue pathology. SHC Radiology is committed to providing the highest level of customer service to our patients.

Imaging Services
High resolution digital plain x-rays are offered at Student Health Center. Images are electronically transmitted to and interpreted by Board Certified Radiologists at University of California Irvine Medical Center. Digital images provide off-site radiologists with the ability to read digital images from a remote location which, in turn, allows for much faster results and optimal patient service. For imaging services not offered at SHC (e.g., MRI, CT, Ultrasound, etc…), patients will be given a referral to either UCI Medical Center, another UCI Health affiliated imaging center or an in-network facility in the community that is convenient for the patient.

Accreditation
UCI Student Health Center Radiology department is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
Radiology technologists are certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and the California Department of Health Services.
